We are no longer accepting submissions of books for children and do not accept submissions of the following categories: Science Fiction; Fantasy; Poetry; Short Stories.
Please send all of (but only) the following: a cover letter, including a brief biography; a one or two-page synopsis; 30 – 50 pages of your manuscript, which must include the first chapter (or 10 pages) but, if you wish, can be a selection of excerpts.
You must enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope (or include an email address) in order for us to reply to you. If you would like us to return your material, please ensure that your envelope has sufficient postage on it.If submitting from overseas, you may include a cheque for postage instead. We won't reply to submissions without stamped/franked self-addressed envelope or email address.
Please only post via ordinary first or second class, DON'T send submissions via recorded signed for.
If we are interested, we will ask you to send us further material, usually in the form of data.
Due to the volume of material we receive, we cannot undertake to comment on submissions and ordinarily do not do so. However, we try to be as helpful as time permits.
